I called my county commissioner about 30 years ago who was my friends dad and pulled a RD Mercer on him. Old Roy was one of a kind. RIP RDM. .gif "angel")

One day at the power plant I had a note from the operators that Roy Mercer had called while I was at lunch. I had listened to several of his skits so I knew who he was. I called the number he had left expecting most anything. Turned out the guys name really was Roy Mercer and he was a scaffold salesman. He said his name had caused him lots of trouble until he found about the radio show..
