The local gun shop had JK Armament suppressors in their case...price was good (close to $500)...how good are the suppressors? I'm no suppressor guru, so I have no idea. I didn't pay attention to the model, but looking at their site, it's probably the VersaX series.

No firsthand experience but when I was looking at the Polonium line from OCL the JK Armament brand came up in a lot of my research because they're similarly priced. All the feedback I read was positive.

Also, nothing to offer, Never heard of them.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

Everything I have read about JK suppressors has lead me to stay away from them. They are not very quiet compared to the competition. Anytime they demo their suppressors they pack them full of Vaseline or other gel to help quiet them down. they even have a page on their web site about how to do it. https://jkarmament.com/running-a-suppressor-wet/

good for you at least getting a suppressor. Remember, you usually get what you pay for. This being said, as long as you don't dump magazine after magazine, the JK should be ok. Read all the reviews you can. Do your research and have fun

Pretty decent cans at their price point.

Read all the reviews you can. Do your research and have fun I didn't get one. I'm still looking for a good, reasonably priced can for the AR. So problem with suppressing an AR, is the DI gas system dumps gas and noise back in your face. The cheaper suppressors, that work great on a bolt action gun, have too much back pressure to suppress an AR15 well, unless you tune the gun with an adjustable gas block or a BRT gas tube. Adding a heavier buffer and/or recoil spring helps with the over gassing and function, but doesn't cut down on the noise a lot. A couple of my favorite AR's I run adjustable gas blocks, the others I just put an H3 buffer in them. I also run .30 cal cans on my .300 and 5.56 AR's. Now some of the new and more expensive suppressors are 3D printed and vent more gas out the front, the are reduced back pressure or flow through designs. That technology has really taken off in the last couple of years. If you want a cheaper conventional can, and don't mind tuning your gas system a bit, Otter Creek Labs, Rex Silentium, YHM, and Dilligent Defense all make cans for around $500-$600. OCL and Rex have some reduced back pressure cans that are supposed to work well, I haven't tried them yet.
