I was down at DI Precision earlier this week getting a rimfire barrel lined up and found out they have bought all the rights and inventory for the line of Sherman wildcat cartridges. They had an impressive amount of brass/ dies / ammo etc on hand. They had a very interesting looking 7mm cartridge made off the 6.5x 47 case with 40 degree shoulder running 190 ATips around 2700 if I remember correctly. I may have my 300WSM barrel reamed to their 300 SS

Lots and lots of Sherman homers on long range hunting...to the point it's like hammer bullets, a complete turn off to me. Plus, Sherman reamers were HIGH and had a deal that you could only buy from them...which made them more expensive than a normal custom spec'd reamer. Between the homers and the cost...plus, I've never really liked only having one brass source (that wasn't Lapua) it was a big no for me.
