This is a really cool idea. Never seen this before.
My Tikka could earn a silver, as long as it's sunny enough to see splashes like in the video. Gold is a next level shot, and half moa at that distance is sporty. The half moa would be easier with a Bartlein or other high end barrel and a shooter with A+ wind reading.
I did clean all 4 TYL targets at 800 yards at the rifle challenge at JG's years ago. I remember biggest was 2 moa, smallest was 1/2 moa. Can't remember if the 2 in the middle were 1.5moa and 1moa or 1moa and 3/4moa. But 1 or 2 other folks cleaned it too - I wasn't alone. Maybe Judd? There was no 800 yard stage at a challenge and Judd just yelled at people I only yelled cuz you didn't listen

Having some jackwagon send a round through his house with his wife in the house probably isn't worth it to him just to have rifle matches.

I didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest.
But I maintain that a factory tikka with good handloads and a decent shooter could score well in this, but it would take a top notch rifle and a top notch shooter to come anywhere near hitting both targets in less than 5 shots.

I can go past 3000 yards on my place, but it’ll be a bit before I’m ready for matches. Although it is coming, you’ll just have to cross the red river to get there.

I can go past 3000 yards on my place, but it’ll be a bit before I’m ready for matches. Although it is coming, you’ll just have to cross the red river to get there. If we could keep it a tad under 3000 yards that would be awesome, say maybe 0-1000 yards

I’m glad I got to make it to one of your THF matches. I remember zeroing the first two stages. On the 3rd stage shooting the Bobcat target from your tripod, you were right next to me watching me shoot. I missed the first show (I was nervous as hell). I looked at you and you said “slooow down” I went on to finish 11th or 12th 😎. Was 1 of 5 shooter to clean the Prairie Dog stage ! 😎. Good times 🤙🏽
