USPS lost 9.5 billion dollars, last year. Yeah, that’s an outfit that has its act together.

I think if the Postal Service just went away and only private companies took care of mail, we would be better off and save multi-billions. I think the PO has run its course and did what it needed to do at one time. But it is time for it to go away.
Other than a few bills that I still get (could easily be done online), I throw away everything else that is put in my mail box.

I can mail a letter for less than a few quarters and have it show up in 2 days about anywhere in the USA.

Usually shipping packages is much cheaper from USPS.

The Little Guy wins one! After 2 separate trips to the post office, more lies and a postmaster that refused to come out and talk, I reached out to the District Office in the metromess……DONE DEAL! Mail already delivered!

If that’s the case, then why are they charging for their service?

And maybe you can get a letter delivered in two days, but most of us cannot. It takes weeks, and the package goes half way around the world, and you’re lucky if it gets there, at all. They SUCK. I no longer want my tax dollars wasted on them.

Reminds me about being charged to go to a Texas State Park. My hunting and fishing license fees supplement their budget. They should let me in for free just for having a license or shut them down and make it more state hunting land.
