Money. I bet it costs 200 bucks a day to house prisoners here. Guessing 10 dollars a day there.
We pay them 110 bucks a day, they profit 100 dollars a day for every head.
They get 5000 prisoners, that’s half a million a day profit. Plus tons of aid.

I dont see US convicts being sent over. Too much question of rights violations I agree. Many legal issues. Now, we could get creative with the 25k non citizens in federal prison. “Commute” sentences and send them to El Salvador, they can do whatever they chose to do with them.
