Wanted to see the giant trees at least once. I was out there on business anyway . It’s worth a visit for sure, saw several mule deer also.

It’s such an amazing place….we’ve been there three times and it was worth the drive every time!

Our oldest twin and his family went there a few years ago. It is definitely one of the things on my bucket list.
This year it's Scotland and Ireland.

I encourage everyone to take a long week and visit Death Valley, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Yosemite, and Reno…

You could certainly do more time at each buy a couple of days at each is still a nice visit.

I lived in Reedley, CA. For years growing up and was a short hour from there, pretty interesting place. The deer in that are are blacktail deer and a smaller version of a Mule deer, same antler structure.

I spend a lot of time in Sequoia and Kings Canyon in the 60s and 70s. No place like it on the planet.

Very cool! That may be the most beautiful part of the country I have been in. The size and age of some of those redwood trees is remarkable.
