OP bobcat1 THF Trophy Hunter B Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 8,687 Sanger, Texas	Chargriller 980 Gravity Cooker doing work. The flavor is awesome. Put in B&B Briquettes and some hickory and cherry chunks in with it. Took about 30 minutes to get up to 225 for the smoking part. When I was finished with smoking I cranked it to 450 for the steaks and burgers. I cooked 4 Ribeyes and 3 Burgers all for the carnivore diet. Might just use the Propane or charcoal grill for the steaks and burgers going forward. You just don't get that char in the 980. The Pork tenderloin, Chicken and Ribs were tender and moist. Tons of flavor. Bobby Barnett

Here ya go. Chargriller 980 gravity fed. I like it because you can burn wood chunks and charcoal in the hopper. Some guys even burn full splits in the hopper. the flavor is MUCH better than pellet smokers and with that setup I can set it and forget it. Go to bed and it will cook all night. Sleep is important to old men. LOL Made a few modifications. Added the Billows fans and a Thermoworks Smoke x4 controller. Last pics are after burnoff and seasoning Bobby Barnett
