Looking at the Benelli Ethos SuperSport 20 ga but have hesitation as other 3.5” Benellis have had a problem cycling light target or dove loads. Anyone have experience with the 20 ga? Thanks in advance

Not an Ethos, but I have a Benelli Legacy 20 ga chambered for 2 3/4" to 3" shells. I've shot maybe fifteen or so boxes of 2 3/4" dove loads without a hitch. I also have an old H&K Benelli SBE 12 ga with a 3 1/2" chamber that I've been shooting mostly dove loads through for over 25 years, and I don't recall a single misfire. YMMV.
I have heard/read anecdotal stories of some Benelli shotguns failing to cycle properly in cold weather, but I was under the impression that improper lubrication (either too much, or maybe the wrong type) is a likely culprit.

Not same gun but never had an issue with the Montefeltro 20ga cycling. My favorite semiauto shotgun.
