I was given some leftover Krag rounds in Remington cases and after pulling some bullets, they appear to be in new brass with a factory-looking crimp and a 180 grain round nose bullet. Lately I have only seen factory 180 Spitzer rounds. We're these round noses a factory round offered years ago by Remington?

I believe there were, and 220's also. Used to see them on the shelf next to the 303 British I would buy for my father in law's Lee Enfield. I knot that Rem loads the 180 PSP in 30-40 now.

I THINK that’s what me and my buddy were shooting out of his krag a few years ago. I know it was a corelok ammo box and I’m 99% sure they were RN.

It was pretty fun hitting steel at 300 yards and iron sights with that thing

Thanks for the word! These appear to have been loaded with 46 grains of a powder with grains that are longer and larger than 3031 grains. It was a compressed, or completely full load. Only 4831 and 4850 loads get to 46 grains in my Sierra manual. I never shot any for not knowing if they were bad handloads.
