Does anyone have any recent information on the quality of the hunts at Mariposa ranch?

I hunted there several years ago...2017 would be my guess. Beautiful wild quail ranch...sandy soils with in oak mottes...owner is a little quirky on the way he runs things...does not allow his drivers to drive off of roads, so you let dogs out and they run around while you stay in the truck until they go on point...sometimes you can see the dogs work sometimes you cannot...driver has to stop and make periodic phone calls checking in with owner, updating him on coveys pointed, flushed, birds shot, birds recovered...

Multiple nice little houses to stay in, they cook/serve your meals but they are portion controlled, no seconds, no snacks provided...

...overall the were some pretty decent dogs, guides were ok, property is beautiful...nice experience...pricy.

Quirky to say the least. Accurate description of place. Text if you want more detail.

Pretty sure I hog hunted there a long time ago. It was a very odd hunt. The place was definitely called Mariposa Ranch. There was a natural hot spring there, set up like a rock hot tub.

Sounds like I wouldn’t hunt there!
