The 11.3" with Rugged Micro 30 suppressor is the money. I'm getting 2333 fps with factory 135gr HAM'R Bonded. It has a 5" drop at 200yd and over 1000 ft-lbs at 1886 fps. I think Bill said at one point the 135gr will expand down to 1600 fps or so, which would make this round effective to 300 yards. Here's a pic. Weighs 6 lbs-12 oz with everything you see on it including suppressor. Could make it even lighter with a smoke composites stock but wanted the adjustability. Includes Smoke Composite Rail, JP Dissipaters cut to size, Rugged Micro 30 Suppressor and Aimpoint red dot. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/01/full-66244-442842-hamr_sbr_with_rugged_micro_30.jpg)

well this didn't turn out quite as expected. yea, my buddy is a flat bellied, eagle eyed prs shooter, but i never thought a seasoned veteran like myself could get shown up by a punk kid. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/01/full-2293-443327-20250123_224727.jpg)

Be honest now, you took the “kid” again…didn’t ya? Nice to see you back doing your part…

I'm glad the farms we hunt on don't make us drag the hogs out of the fields !! x2 Ours said we were killing wheat where they were laying...my buddy said "how much wheat do you think they will kill if we don't kill them?" He never said another word about the pigs laying

i just do whatever the farmer wants. some what them gone saying the bones give their tractors flats. others don't want me driving on the crop and say everything's gone in a few days anyway. i don't mind dragging them out. that's the least i could do for permission to hunt. i collect the pix anyway, lol.

I’m having a 16” 300 hamr ar put together for my son to hunt hogs and whitetail with. We hunt in south texas brush country that is very unforgiving if you have to trail a deer. What would be the ideal bullet that would penetrate both shoulders and give the highest likely hood of a DRT shot? Thanks in advance!

Shot this decent 6.5yr old 10pt about 20min before dark last night. 100yd shot with the new 130gr TXC-SPB designed for long mag box bolt guns. He took 3 steps after the hit and went down. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-65935-444256-20250202_181342_copy_2000x1500.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2025/02/full-65935-444257-20250202_181222_copy_2000x1500.jpg)

is the 125gr Xtreme Chaos better than the 125gr controlled chaos? Not necessarily, but the 115gr Tipped Xtreme Chaos is EXTREMELY effective on deer and hogs. My two "go to" bullets are the 115gr Tipped Xtreme Chaos and the 125gr Controlled Chaos

got to fire a few shots before the cold weather set in. video failed on the larger group. scope is now on its way back to tech support. there should be fourteen hogs in the bottom half of the pic, but i guess two must have come off the chain when dragging. anyway got some footage of the other five with two suicide bombers.
