That’s as simple as food in the camper. We keep all sorts of ready to heat and eat can goods in the camper like raveoli, beef stew, etc. we don’t plan to eat it at all. It’s back up for when you’re hungry and just don’t want to deal with it.

Ever opened up a ravioli can that has been sitting in a non air conditioned cabin for a year past the best buy date? I did. I wouldn't suggest it.

I'm always amazed when I look in my pantry and find stuff that expired 4 or 5 years ago. I keep thinking, didn't I just purge all of this stuff last year. Apparently I didn't.

Thanks,
Rich

Something I will never eat is canned chili. I have eaten canned soup a year past use by date with no problem but not 6 years.
