Zoo 100% is awesome. USS Midway Navy Museum & Maritime Museum, Coronado Public Beach just a few away from Buds training, Torrey Pines State Reserve for hikes, Balboa Park, Snorkeling or Kayak in Lajolla cove. Buils a fire in firering on beach at night and hang out. The water temp is high 50s if you have an idea of getting in the ocean. Enjoy it is beautiful weather and has nice things. Alot of gang activity in shottty neighborhoods esp SE San Diego

Ramsey was pretty spot on with his recs. If you get to La Jolla, lunch at George's is worth it. If in La Jolla, do not, and I repeat do not, pick up a real estate guide

The zoo if you like that sort of thing. The cartels lit up a couple of American hikers near the city this week so hiking could be exciting.

It’s on the same block as the hotel we will be at, so I bet we hit it up more than once. Any other recommendations from the crowd?

This! Spot on. Catch a baseball game as well. Padre’s stadium is really nice.

I was there two weeks ago visiting family and friends.

  • Breakfast at http://cafe222.com/ - this place is busy
  • Lunch or dinner at https://www.notnottacos.com/ in Little Italy
  • Dinner at https://bornandraisedsteak.com/ in Little Italy (make reservations well in advance)
  • An alternative to Born and Raised - dinner at https://www.islandprime.com/ on Harbor Island (make reservations well in advance)
  • Coronado Island is always packed - good luck parking
  • La Jolla Village is always packed, go surfing - good luck parking
  • Gaslamp Quarter has shopping, restaurants, and bars
  • Torrey Pines - golf, scenic drive, Natural Reserve, and glider port
  • San Diego Yacht Club if you know a member
  • Del Mar for a Polo match
  • Temecula is a really nice area - hot air balloon rides, a couple decent wines too - it's kind of like "Little Napa"
  • The zoo no longer has Pandas - even when they did the line was 3+ hours

My botnet is bigger than yours.

They will still be in spring training when we are there. We plan on doing the stadium tour. Trip is coming soon. Anymore suggestions?
