Has anybody filled their portable propane tanks lately? I filled 2 yesterday at Tractor Supply and it was $3.69 a gal. Is that about the going price or would it be cheaper at a actual butane/propane place.
some people like silver and gold
I like brass and lead with a little powder in between

I paid $18 per 20# can at a propane place a couple of days ago. Another local place charges $20. That’s for a full can, not the swap-out partially full cans.

Yeah the partial full swap out cans are why I decided to have mine filled . It was $31.xx for 8.59 gals.

That’s more than average but not much more. About what I would expect from tractor supply.

That’s about average for the small grill tanks. We pay $2.89 for 250 gallons

Just remember, they only get filled at 80% capacity for expansion.

That’s about right for Tractor Supply. Local suppliers might have a slightly better deal.

Just got a price for 100 gallons, delivered $2.99. 20 lb tank was $15.
