 LTB: Scout scope or pistol scope

As the title says, got a 45-70 lever gun coming and looking for a scope. Prefer 1 or 2 as base mag, up to 10 power on the high side. Extended eye relief is a must. Also a must is it needs some kind of illuminated reticle.
Would also consider a closed emitter red dot like the Holosun AEMS.

I put a weaver 2x7 on a cva 6.5 grendel. They get good reviews on some of the hand gun hunting world. That 45-70 might be a lil rough on recoil for that scope.
