My cameras are very busy, as the deer are really going after the corn at the feeders. This cold weather has them hungry. I’ll put out 50# at each feeder tomorrow. Depending on what thermometer you consult, it looks to be 20 degrees or a bit colder. The yard camera says it’s 15 degrees, but I doubt it.
I just went out to check around the buildings and the well house, and got a bit chilled. Wind isn’t blowing, thank goodness.

My ducks at the pond will eat up 50# of corn in a day in the winter time.
How long will 50# of corn last at a feeder?

I saw deer everywhere right before sunset yesterday. I have never seen so many in Ft. Worth city limits along the highway.

Seen it many times in different parts of the country. Deer on my place have had some single digit temps and are super bristled. Makes them look much darker too.

Don't need a gun to hunt these Guys. Feed them everyday. Mom on left and 2 yearling on right. Never jumped the fence on the 10 acre place after She had them. Start my own herd. Hunt them with a Ball Peen Hammer.

Most say fawns lose their spots anywhere from 90 to 120 days old. Don't know as I just feed um in the front yard. This Guy was a regular over at our place in Granite Shoals.

That guy would be questionable in an AR county….

The corn has been spread at the feeders. About 25# at each feeder. I have on my super cold weather Carhart, which, as you notice, is quite fashionable.

I was told by someone that they go near the highway because of the heat given off by the asphalt and traffic. Could be complete BS, I dunno.

They were bunched up last week and are all in groups of two of three now. This was last week or so when they were bunched up.
