Looking for 50+ acres, preferably in Texas. Not looking for a showplace, but something with wildlife and 4 hours or less from Dallas. Let me know what you have.

About 40 years ago I was also looking. I drew a circle defining the limits of how far out I would go and what kind of land I wanted. Then my budget.
i got on the computer and started looking for rural realtors. I started calling and asking what they had.
I told them that I wanted unimproved land with road frontage that had no chance of growing cotton.
I finally got a hit that led to me buying the land I still have.
Without a sense of urgency, nothing ever happens.
Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley, Rancher Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
