Car of the day up. 69 Porsche 917 002 purchase originally by Steve McQueen. Couldn't get it done at 25 million.

Fun to watch for sure! Some beautiful vehicles go through that sale. Used to love watching “Mecum, gone farming” auction on RFD station, but they quit airing it a year or two ago.

I’m no expert, but that’s a lot for just about any car, I would think. Give Trump a couple years to improve the economy, and maybe they can get it.

It is very cool to watch a lot of those beautiful rides go through Mecum and Barrett-Jackson auctions, crazy money dropped on some of those rides.

Guess my 94 GMC (The Beast) with 227000 plus miles wouldn't great very far in that crowd!?

I haven't finished watching it yet, I DVR'd most of it. But man, people were spending some money at this auction for sure. Seems the collector car market is bouncing back in a big way.
