Walking through Lowes and about passed out when I saw this. At that pricing it's $13.50 per pound of propane plus tax. I refill my own and don't have to worry about this. The price tag is 27.48 for a 4 count. It looks like someone put a 2 count to fill shelf space.

Covid pricing still in effect. Even WM is $3.99 a tank. I fill my own at a fraction of that price.

I just got back from a grocery run to Walmart in Longview and right by the front door they had a display with these bottles.
They have the 4 packs of 16 OZ ones for $18.87.

with this upcoming cold front coming this weekend, they will be sold out ... I still remember the snowmagedon in 2021, TP, eggs, milk & propane bottles were sold out for weeks

I got my 2 BBQ grill tanks refilled for $32.00 and they were heavy more than double the propane than doing the tank exchange.

In March of 2020 (remember that?) I bought three new full grille sized tanks outright for $30 each and had my empty one refilled. I still have most of it.
I also bought a case of 2-stroke fuel. I am just now on the last can and it will cost 2X to replace.
Pass the gravy.
