I'm pulling for McCarthy to find a new team and win a super bowl. It will just show more evidence Jerry is the problem.
Cowboys now behind the curve with a new HC. Jerry really fumbled the ball with this. My guess Jerry wanted McCarthy back, but drug his feet closing the deal, pushed it till the end till contract expiration, then McCarthy told him to go pound sand. They should be way past this part of the process.

But if I was negotiating with Jerry, and I hope the next Cowboys coach is listing to me, it would go like this: #1, no more of your post game press conferences, especially when I am have a post game press conference at the same time. No other NFL GM does this, and for good reason. #2, you no longer talk about play personnel who starts or who sits, you can talk about player contracts, salary caps, drafting, player roster moves..that is it. I am the boss of this football team, not you.

I cannot imagine being an owner of a football team and having someone like this come in and act like that. My response...let me put this in layman's terms, "I own this bitch and I will do whatever the hell I want...you work for me, got it?" You can't be this naive...even though you make some great points LOL! There isn't an owner in the NFL that will be talked to like that and ESPECIALLY Jerry Jones, come on.
