Came across this in a search but it appears the website is not working and no posts on FB in several years. Anybody know what happened?

The lease I was on across the road from the TX Duck ranch was scheduled to give up a portion for a solar farm.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

The duck ranch was bought by St. Thomas school in houston for revenue generation. Story was a minor incident made them liability conscious and they shut the big operation down. Supposedly there are a few day hunts still done out there on the few ponds they flood. Many of the bigger tracts over there did lease for solar, 10k acres or so which is a shame. I'm holding my breath that it won't go through, maybe Trump will yank funding. But if it does happen, goodbye Garwood Prairie it was nice knowing you.
