This is the best way to eat quail. I wasn’t in charge tonight.

Scalebuster just prompted me to take a few quail out of the freezer.

Mine never make it to the freezer. My family ate 18 fried quail with rice and gravy last weekend. No leftovers with my boys!

Fried quail , biscuits and gravy is the best breakfast in the world.

Mom would put quail in my lunch for school, everyone at the lunch table would try to trade me,

That’s 2 steaks, a tenderloin fillet and a NY strip. You don’t like those 2 cuts?

If I wanted a chewy piece of meat I’d get jerky, and as for the fillet, they never give you enough of it to justify the price of the rest of the crap attached to it.

That doesn’t make it any better. NY Strip is terrible steak. The only NY Strip I found palatable was a Waygu strip from
Ocean Prime. I’m not a waygu fan boy, can’t stand waygu/kobe steaks unless it’s a strip, and even at that it will never be my first choice. You’d do slightly better if it were a porterhouse, but I’d still defer to a ribeye or fillet
