Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

I booted them the first day, so they could get a education on cactus without it being to bad. After that just coated their pads, front of legs, and chest with mushers secret. Hunted them every day for 5 days, They navigated the cactus pretty well, unless birds were involved. Carried tweezers and duct tape in my vest. I pulled plenty of cactus spines out of them during hunts. Lucky enough none were in their feet, and they would go right back to hunting. For it being there first time in this type of terrain, it surprised me on how well they held up. Around camp they would act a little sore, but as soon as I got ready to hunt again. They sprang back to life, and were ready to roll.
