Guess I need to get out today and check some projects. Anybody got any reports on road conditions?

Just got the office...a lot of wet with any bridge slick and has snow/ice on it. Not many folks on the road yet...they will likely get better until it gets dark and the temps fall this evening.

This info is all NE...Wylie, Plano...GB area.

I’ve read 75 is fairly clear, but still below freezing here. Suppose to get down to 17 tonight.

Wow! Nothing like that over here on/near Fork! No accumulation except on porch and very little at that.

That's getting close to adding stress to the power grid.

Agree -- we could have gotten a road condition report if there was a bicycle ride

I'm kind of in the same boat. Going to be driving from Houston to Lubbock on Saturday and I'm trying to decide if we should take the Dallas route or go up through College Station/Waco. Houston to Dallas was already going to be a mess with the football game.

Thanks,
Rich

S’posed to head to Temple tomorrow morning and want to head out 6:30-7:00 am

Forecast calling for temps in the 20’s maybe lower and maybe freezing fog as well in the early morning before it starts to warm up.

Thinking I may post pone ‘til next weekend to be on the safe side

That cold temp and those wet roads are going to be a traffic nightmare on steroids…no thank you!

Just took the dogs on a 4 mile walk. Roads in my area seem to be slushy, but good in the neighborhoods and wet, but clear on the main roads.

I wouldn't want to be on them early tomorrow morning.

It’s slicker than snot out there boys — be careful if you have to go out. It’s not just your caution driving but it’s watching out for dumbasses like the guy that almost slid into us at a turn

I have been out the past 3 days and the roads are getting progressively better, low traffic roads that have shady sections have slushy stuff. The problem up here is everyone is in their SXS living it up and going fast on 289. I have been driving my lifted excursion!!

So we got nearly a foot. Metro got 4"? Roads are dry here despite the 10 degree temps this morning at 3:00 AM. It was nearly 50 and sunny so the roads are fine up here.

Pass the gravy.
