Closest to metroplex in Wichita Falls, with Muddy Water Outfitters. The crane has been hit or miss around there last few years. I would go further west. Amarillo, Lubbock

DIY - Crosbyton to Floydada up to South Plains & Silverton. But no farther East than Turkey

Stay North of 82, East of 27, South of 62 mostly.

Never had a famer / rancher say "No".

Find water, Playas, and you will find Cranes.

We’ve been going out with Final Descent in Lubbock for about 5 years now. Great company and their guides work their butts off. This is a couple weeks ago, 14 people, 42 birds.

Ha, I resemble a guy in that picture, but I will also second Final Descent. The guys really work at getting the customers their birds.

Holy crap, the price of these outfitters these days... I get it, but damn, we used to go for $200/day. Now lucky to find a hunt under $400

FWIW, great outfit in Lubbock, been with them many times, https://www.blackfootoutdoors.com/

Consistently better hunts towards Lubbock area. Definitely worth driving the extra distance.
