What's your go-to when Jack Frost shows up? I'm not much on soups but I'll mess up some greens. Slow cooked these yesterday with some smoke ham hocks.

Potato soup, tomato bisque, or brown beans and cornbread. A creamy crab soup from a good seafood place will work too. food

The only time I eat Arby’s is during a cold front. No idea why.

Chili tops my list, but I like some good Ham and beans over cornbread too.

Made a big pot of Chili and have been eating it for lunch the last couple of days, got a Pork Tenderloin in the oven now for dinner.
Cold weather is a great time to cook in the oven up

I’m from Louisiana. Of course gumbo is first on almost everyone’s list. But chicken and dumplings is a close second followed by chili.

Let me throw a couple of more that haven’t been mentioned.

Homemade chicken pot pie is an ultimate comfort food. Warms you up and makes you feel good.

Taco soup is always delicious. What’s not to love about a good homemade taco soup with the spice of rotels, taco seasoning, ranch style beans with jalapeños especially when served with some Fritos, cheddar cheese, and/or a fresh skillet of cornbread to crumble up in the taco soup.

Just my 2 cents
Big Hutch

My top 3 cold weather eats are chili, chicken pot pie, or chicken and wild rice soup.

Wick Fowlers with a few twist.

Bet that would make good filling for Enchiladas or?

I love french onion soup....could make a meal out of it and some nice, crusty french bread.
