I have a couple of older Coleman fuel lanterns needing some work. Who would you recommend in N Dallas are for lantern repair work?

Good luck with that! not fimilar with the DFW area and such, not much to those lanterns to repair anyway. I have over a dozen of them, some dating back to early 50's tired to sell some before we moved, not a chance. With all these new led lights today and better batteries made, might be the way to go. Unless these are sentimental to you? Streamlight and Surefire makes some nice camping lanterns today.... but kindy pricey.
Happy camping....

I never knew anyone worked on them until my dad gave me a lesson on them when I was younger. Since then I've revived several of them, and stoves too.
The most common issue with the old lanterns and stoves that haven't been used in a generation or more is the generator tubes getting clogged up with rust. You can take them apart and clean them if not too far gone. if the tank is clean, the generator tube is clean, the pump rubber (or leather in the really old ones) isn't dried out, and you have good mantles it should work as good as ever.

Probably going to have to find some Utube videos and try yourself. I still have an old one and a camp stove that I haven’t used in 30 years. Still have a pack of mantles in my tackle box!

They are easy to fix, I own quite a few, Cracked glass, dirty generators, and pump seals are 99% of the usual problems, Plenty of parts and info on how to rebuild etc. The biggest problem these days is the stupid price they charge for the fuel!! If you have a dual fuel, it is much cheaper to buy ethanol free gasoline, than coleman fuel. Just a little more work to keep the generators clean.
