Hello- I am in the market for a new box blind in the next couple of months. 4x6 or 5x7 on a 7'-8' stand and entrance from the long side. Prefer to have some type of shelving on the inside along with noise dampeners such as carpet or etc.

I see a lot of fiberglass stands that are made today- however are they noisy?

Any input would be appreciated.

I have a 4x6 on a 10’ platform from Redneck Blinds that I bought years ago (maybe 8 to 10 years). It’s been great. No leaks, no bugs, no problems. Noise never has been a problem, due to the material glued to the inside, below the windows. I ordered it and they delivered it by truck. I assembled it on site, which was easy, attached the blind to the tower, also easy, and stood it up with the help of a friend and his tractor.

It’s sturdy fiberglass with the rear entry you want. Windows are glass with a minor tint. They flip up inside. Rubber seals keep the rain out. The tower is black powder coated and has shown no rust at all over the years.

Fiberglass will fail. It's just a matter of time. I use these. I like the 5X7 uninsulated.

Antlershed. I have had 5 of their blinds and towers. two 5x8 and three 4x6. Never had a problem with leaks or wasps.

I have the Bushlan 5x7 insulated. Very secure. No pests or water leakage at all. However, I need to replace the windows which are the slide up with tabs. Noisy.
