One trackho gelled up during the big freeze due to it being forgotten about on the side of he road from a previous project and it seems like it was around $14,000 in damages to repair. It’s a cheap insurance policy in my book, we also run some Amsoil injector cleaner through all the equipment every so often as well but I’m not sure that does very much if I’m being honest.

I buy this in drums and we use it year round. When these cold spells come around, we increase the dosage when the transport shows up.

Hot Shots Everyday for "everyday" use, and the Hot Shots anti gel when it gets way cold. Amsoil "All in One" is excellent too, but pricey.

Just make dang sure ya dont use that little plastic bottle of stuff sold at discount retailers . Sold as product name HEAT. Yes it will thaw ice and yes it will remove water from your fuel at the expense of injection pumps and injectors!

We get cold enough to need antigel so infrequently I use whatever I find on the truckstop shelf that says antigel. Usually Howes or power service. Both have worked to keep my pickup starting when other untreated trucks did not start. Good enough for me. Other than that I will run a dose of hot shots every once in a while. 162k on my cp-4 no issues yet. Supposedly their failure point has been identified and fixed although mine is still the old version. I’ve seen what kind of stupid stuff people do to their vehicles I 100% believe many owners are to blame for their cp-4 issues.
