Never ceases to amaze me how totally dumb, clueless, distracted or just plain arrogant some drivers are

Moron #1. Driving in the fast lane on an open HWY. with speed limit of 70mph going 65, then 73, back to 68 with no one in front of them. First get out of the fast lane, then set your cruise control for however fast you want to drive. Wonder why more folks do not use their cruise control??

Moron #2. Drivers intentionally speeding up to prevent you from passing them. I was on Hwy 380 heading west just outside Bridgeport, the speed limit goes from 45 mph to 55 mph once you get past 1658, you are going down a slope with Yellow stripe pass with caution, got a little Red Mini Cooper in front of me steady at 45 in the 55, I go to pass her and she stares at me then speeds up to try and prevent me from passing, well that did not work so she rode my azz all of the way into Runaway Bay videoing me

The list goes on and on on just basic common sense rule of the road and throw in a little courtesy!!

got a friend who's dad has dementia, mostly blind, sings at full volume in the middle of the night at the 'home'. But wait. His wife got the car taken away as she would drive to town, scaring everybody. So, angry, she takes the 4 wheeler and runs into a fence, injured pretty bad. Passed a little while back from the injuries. People do what people do and no learning them.

I’m with you on the cruise control, don’t understand why some folks speed up/slow down so much. Wait, it’s mostly folks on their phone, I assume…..

Stub you have zero control over how someone else drives so why get worked up over it. Making your blood pressure spike is all that’s accomplished. I’ve seen someone with no criminal history shoot another person over a parking spot. I don’t understand how people can have such a loss of composure over other drivers.

How about...I drive an F150 Super Crew with cross toolbox behind the cab. Cars ride so close I can't see their headlights.

Obviously, they can't see traffic obstruction in front of me, such as another vehicle waiting to turn. So, I get the horn and cussing while they jump a curb or drive headed into traffic only to find they are stuck like me. I just get out of their way best I can.

You are so right sir for the most part (control)! I do not go rage when encountering Dumb azz's as mentioned above. However when I have a normal hour and forty five minute drive home and someone is blatantly being a knucklehead that makes that drive a lot longer, sometimes riding their rear end and flashing the headlights gets the message across.
Most people are oblivious that they are not driving appropriately and respond accordingly when given a nudge.

And it all depends on your view of life. When I am driving on a road with no aesthetic value, I want to go from point A to point B as soon as legally possible, do not want to speed up and slow down just because the idiot in front of me does not have a clue on how to drive in a consistent manner.

I'd like to have a pit bumper sometimes.

I just wish that folks who text and drive would use their cruise control. All they do is speed up and slow down, when you try to pass them they speed up.

Friends came in from Louisiana yesterday. They said a left lane queen drove next to an 18 wheeler for 20 milles backing up traffic for 3 miles behind them.

I don't know how you keep your "composure" when you carefully and safely (including turn signals, what a concept) go to pass someone going 45mph on a FM road and they keep speeding up 'cause they don't want anyone to be in front of them. I've experienced it on FM1376 coming south with some little BMW idiot coming out of Luckenbach, years ago. You try to deliberately endanger my life, it's on. I seriously doubt that the officer advising to roll over and take it would do the same himself.

The stupid crap I see on I10, going back and forth to my place, is endless. People not speeding, slamming on their brakes when they see a LEO's car and/or flashing lights. Many, many folks that can't comprehend pushing the gas pedal down a little further to compensate for going up a steep hill. Idiots that can't drive one speed, then get LIVID when you pass them for the fifth time. Throw in several Mexican nationals, either going 40mph with their auction caravans, or successful ones thinking the world should instantly get out of their way and you got some good times! The hills between Kerrville and Boerne are "Crazy Town" with more and more people moving here every day.

Yeah I can't stand slow left laners...
But the other a day a trooper was riding in the left lane of I45 going 65,barely, which is the speed limit, and had traffic stacked up 3 lanes wide and probably 20 cars deep. As soon as he exited, everyone was whammo, off to the races

They know what they are doing and nobody wants to pass them. We have passed them 8 over just because you know? WTF? Never pulled over. I do not want to get aggravated enough to talk about people who enter a 75mph highway at 35 but not today.

Passed a moron Th night south of Snyder on 84. They speed up and ride my bumper for several miles. I slow from 80 to 72, they pace me. I pass a car and pin them, run 90 for a mile to create a gap. In three minutes they’re back riding my bumper. I slow again, they match me. Finally a faster rabbit passes me and they go with him.

thought I was going to have to switch to guns yesterday. Headed south on the DNT in the far-right lane. Notice a beater Camry in the on ramp. I sped up to give him room behind me. He sped up and blasted his horn at me thinking I sped up to cut him off.

He tailed me for a while, then traffic quickly backed up I braked hard, he thought I was brake-checking him. He passed me again; brake checked me, then went on his way after he stuck his dark-skinned arm out his window and showed me his IQ.

Yep. I used to get worked up and BP skyhigh because of other drivers. Wife told me the same thing one day and realized she was right. You have no control over what others do. Once you realize that, your commutes will be a little less stressful.

.....or the ones that stop on the entrance ramp!

Had a dream last night that I was interviewing for a job, it was going great, he actually came to my house just to ask me if I had one flaw what is it?
Me; well it would have to be my driving, I drive fast and have little patience for Dumb Azz drivers.

I usually run 80-81 and almost nobody passes me. I don’t care if somebody wants to run in my wake, but it grinds my gears, especially at night, if they tailgate me to do so. And when I clearly indicate several times to back off, and they don’t, I really want to beat their arse.

I was headed home and was driving from Del Rio to Sonora running about 85 when I looked in my mirror and noticed an unmarked car and a DPS trooper SUV pacing me. I figured if they were going to pull me over they would have already so I just kept the pace, figured they were headed home on a Friday like me. All was good until a moron came up behind them and then passed us all in a no passing zone while going up a hill. The DPS trooper didn't let that one go. What kind of moron doesn't know better than that?
