I rarely carry around town anymore. I just wonder around with dazed look on my face like my cheese done slipped off my cracker and folks just ignore me, the good and the bad. That and armed with the thought of heaven ain't ready and he(( don't want me back. If someone takes me out well guess my son gets a sizable payout and my problems are no longer a issue.

I live in Rockwall which has less violent crime, and less property crime than Frisco, I still carry.

In Frisco, the odds increase every day of being trampled to death by an elephant.

Maybe i pay more but don't really care. Can honestly say in 60 years of life never witnessed a violent crime and never been a victim of one. Still don't even have keys for my house - it is always unlocked and has been since i built it 30 years ago. That being said when i travel south into the city (Toronto) i bring my hawks and have had to use them twice to dissuade a hothead with road rage - never escalated as they backed down once the hawks were drawn.

Thoughts on a revolver? Anyone carry one? Only hear about the semi autos. I usually carry my Glock 43 or Sig938. Been wanting a small revolver.
I know it’s better to have more rounds.

Is that a Ruger Redhawk or a tomahawk? RR, it doesn't matter where you live, the degenerates have vehicles. People that live in gated communities have a false sense of security.

If I remember correctly from a previous story he is talking about tomahawks. I bring my 43x everywhere with me. Can’t bring it to work but still bring it, if it says I can’t carry in the building I still do but if concealed properly no one will know anyway. Obviously if someone finds out and asks me to leave I leave but have not had that issue before. What’s the old saying have it and not need it vs not have it when needed.

I know it’s better to have more rounds. I have a Kimber K6s and will carry it occasionally. Love the simplicity of the hammer less, double action and close to zero fail points, but also like the benefit of more rounds and quick reload of a SA.

I almost always have an AR in my truck, along with a pouch of 4-6 full mags. Always have a handgun on me, except in the places that I cannot carry (courthouse, school, and such). Also have the pistol caliber AR loaded & ready at home where I can get it quickly. Office has similar precautions.
Main change is thinking through driving routes in advance when possible now, with a mindset of "what are my alternative ways to get back home?", even if it's a long drive around a trouble spot.

Can you carry a pistol for defense in Canada?
