I like watches. Like guns, they rarely go down in value, and you can’t wear them all at once. I just forget about them but want to keep them secured.

All dependent on budget.
Every alternative that I would suggest has already been mentioned.

Tudor, Breitling, Omega. All three are solid, solid choices, all three produce in-house movements, and all three can be had at less than retail on the secondary market.

I have a few nice watches, nothing on the level of a Rolex, think the most I paid for one is around $500. I got a smart watch a year or so back for working out and hiking, but I liked it so much I never took it off except to charge every 2-3 weeks. My other 5-6 watches sit in a display case on my dresser and I haven't worn them since getting my smart watch. I normally wear silicone bands just for the light weight feel and I'm rather hard on them, but I have stainless bands I can swap out in about 30 seconds on my smart watch if I want it to "look more professional".

I haven't wore a watch since I started toting an I phone. Until, I needed to be able to navigate to some of my set ups in the dark and bought a Garmin watch. I never take it off.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Well, a watch for me is less a piece of Jewlery than it is a piece of hardware. I use my Analog watch to tell time/dates multiple times a day. Never use my phone to see what time it is

If you want a piece of hardware that looks nice….

Wow. I like that, a lot. Dang you.

Yea me too. A lot but, 2100 for a smart watch that might have a end of life date for updates or the manufacture just stops support for all together is a hard pill to swallow.

If anyone is looking for something similar, but no where near as expensive try the Amazfit T-REX 3, T-REX Ultra or the Falcon. I have the T-Rex 2 but it looks more like a GShock and doesn't have the stainless bezel or titanium bezel like the Falcon. I also have a GTS-4 and my wife has a GTS-4 Mini and they've all worked great. I might upgrade my T-Rex 2 to the T-Rex 3 soon. Real selling point was the 3 week battery life, it's insane to me you have to charge an Apple watch every 1-1.5 days.

ETA: Check Amazon for the best price and deals. Several reviews comparing it to Garmin Fenix watches.

Unfortunately I like watches and have to many but stick to the microbrands mostly. Thankfully I have zero interest in Rolex and the like. As much as I like my non smart watches, the watch I wear the most is a Fenix 7 SS. It’s an extremely useful tool for workouts, runs, and the like. Last weekend for instance I ran a half marathon on the trails at San Angelo State Park. I’d never been there before and there is a maze of trails in the park making it tough to follow the path I wanted. I loaded up a course on the Fenix before starting and was able to follow that without having to ever stop though making it a lot easier to navigate.

Rarely wear a watch anymore.
