Reminds me of my brother-in-law who just passed. He was married and divorced so many times that he couldn`t marry again in Texas by the time he was 50. He was even buried by one of his ex`s.

27 years to the only wife I’ve ever had . I’d never marry again , too much trouble for the value. I can do everything for myself , better and cheaper than she can do it for me . If I die, I couldn’t care less what she does or with whom.

I work with a guy that's mid-fourties and divorced 4 times. He's currently engaged.

After my last divorce I was shocked but being #4 I shouldn't have been. I took some blame thinking I'm the one that pursued this and made bad decision. I have my ways and so did she and they clashed so it didn't work. Now 62 and haven't really dated since 2006ish and still learning to deal with being alone and enjoy the fact sometimes. Went from very little money and time but was moving and experiencing life to more money than I know what to do with but time has taken it's toll on desires to enjoy experiences. There are good men and females out there and I have faith in love just feel that part of life has passed me by. I can accept I am my own stumbling block or greatest supporter.

My focus would be on my kids and grandkids. A partner in life would be nice but remarrying would be a giant bridge I’m not sure I’d cross again.

Seems like everybody we know is on the 2nd or 3rd marriage. The wife and I just keeping on, and it’ll be 57 years in March.

I used to work with a really cute, and hot, little blonde that had been married and divorced 5 times by the age of 26. She WAS cute. Wore tight slinky dresses that, had she had a dime inside the hip area, you surely could have read heads or tails. Good to look at - the girl, not the dime.

Remembering a long time ago. Married with 3 kids and wife started screwing around. It was over. I got a lawyer, paid him a pile of money for nothing. Went to court, and found that I was now a Disneyland Daddy. I got to see the kids first, third and fifth weekends from Friday at 6 until Sunday at 6, Fathers Day, 2 weeks in the summer, alternating Christmas’s. Paid child support until youngest turned 18.
I insisted and won on domicile. They couldn’t move over 20 miles from current location. That’s an important thing. I knew other guys who didn’t know to do that. Wife went too far away and he didn’t see the kids anymore.

Bottom line? Although I had done nothing wrong, I lost the right to even participate in the life of my children. All due to my gender. The daughters and I put it all back together when they got old enough to drive and make their own decisions.

I’m not going to break any laws but will never have any respect for the court system or justice. The legal system, to me, benefits only law school graduates and the guy who has the most money.

The wife and I are both on #2 and neither of us ever plan on getting married again. We are working on 35 years together.
Once my first wife figured out she couldn't have children, she said she didn't have need of a man anymore and left. She joined the Army at age 34 and made a career of it. So glad we didn't have kids as there is no telling where she would have moved them to or who she would have had raising them.
