Anyone have experience with them? Was just introduced to them at GT in Dallas. Not sure how I feel about all the pieces, it is cool it’s modular and extremely light. Made here in Texas

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

They have been manufacturing quality firearms for several years now. I would think their silencers would also well be well made.

If so I’d imagine they’d be good to go and are a very innovated company. They’re out of Plano as well. I carried a SS MR920 for 4 or 5 years as my daily. Wish I wouldn’t have sold that gun.

I am not talking about Shadow Systems. I have one of their guns and love it. I’m referring to Shadow Silencers, which so far I’m guessing no one has any experience with them.

https://shadowsilencers.com/octomaxThese are the guys he's asking about. Looks very similar to the Q Erector stuff, with the removable baffles and all that. I would be a little apprehensive about using an aluminum can on a heavy use 5.56/7.62/etc. platform, but if they warranty them then I guess they've done the testing.

I was thinking about doing the duo duo 22 suppressor. Not sure there is really any advantage to it over a sparrow or Ruger 22 suppressor

I won’t buy an aluminum silencer even for a 22.

I have a .22 Erector and I would honestly just save your money. The baffles are a pain in the butt and it's a novelty that wears off quickly. My Hux 22ti can is lighter and much quieter while being dead simple.
Best I've had when compared to the Erector and El Camino.

The El Camino is my favorite of them all. The way the baffles fit together the inside of the tube stays clean. I shoot my 22 Hornet through them all the time with no issues.

I have 2 El Caminos.1 on a 17HMR and 1 on a 17WSM. I use both for prairie dogs. DO NOT fire over 300 rounds without cleaning the baffles. I did the 1st 2 days and had a heck of a time getting them out. Now I clean them at the end of every day. I no longer have a problem and I DO like them.

If you gentlemen have never tried the flow, you definitely should. El Camino is a great can, but the flow is quieter and has no first round pop the way the EC does. No baffles to hassle with either, just soak it in breakthrough and then blow it out with some air.

No experience with them.
But all of their silencers, even those rated for rifles are made of aluminum. The rifle can has one titanium blast baffle.
I do have one aluminum .22 LR can. It is for a light weight limited duty used where it is carried a lot and shot a little. I wouldn't trust an aluminum baffle to last very long on a rifle caliber.

I already have 2 El Caminos so I can't see buying another silencer. I will keep this in mind.

Another recommendation for the El Camino. I never take mine apart to clean it. Nylon bottle brush with Breakfree. It would be hard pass to buy from Shadow. They are too new to the market.

They do sales on occasion, so if you buy one of the full size suppressors, you get a 22ti for free. Got mine when they did the sale with the 556k, both very good products. I'll post an alert if I see them run it again, I need a 7.62ti and a 12ga suppressor from them still.

I pop mine out and put them in a gallon baggie with Boar Suppressor Cleaner. Roll the baffles around for about a minute and they look like new.
