I have a woodwind camp chef pellet grill along with the propane sear box. My unit is about 8 years old, but I keep it covered and replace parts as needed. Anyway the manifold that supplies the propane to the burner rusted out so November 12th I ordered a replacement. Part comes and it's the wrong part, no big deal contact C C and they send another one. Part arrives and again it just like the first wrong part.
Contact C C again tell them my sad story and they tell me my part is back ordered and won't be in till after Christmas. So I call today and tell my sad story again to someone else (4th person I've worked with). The nice lady says she's placing me on hold and going out to the warehouse to see what is going on. I'm on hold for over 20 minutes she gets back on the line and states that part isn't available anymore and since I've been ran around for over 6 weeks CC is going to send me their newest model "Side Kick Sear Grill" as a replacement for my outdated unrepairable unit. I about fell out of my chair I couldn't believe it. Now a days this is unheard of. Anyway a new $329.00 sear grill is headed my way via FedEx. Merry Christmas to me!!
I thanked the lady for being so generous and thoughtful. I've always been a Camp Chef fan but now I'm a really big fan.

That is real customer service!

Same reason I keep fixing my pitboss. Customer service has been top notch and warranty has saved me hundreds so far. There’s not many people out there truly taking care of customers anymore.
