Looks like the Freq is working pretty well on gray fox. These were called in a couple of nights ago.

Gary

Not surprising, these foxes responded to the same sounds that I prefer for bobcats; Killer Cotton, Rogue Rabbit and Money Bunny. We recently recorded some really great woodpecker distress sounds ultrasonically which should be HUGE game changers on cats and fox.
Adios,
Gary

Just curious, what do you do with them?

Not speaking for Gary here at all but 99% end up in a gut pile.

I didn't shoot these but I will agree with Biscuit. Since there's no fur market, most of them end up in a trash pit on the ranch. Gray fox are one of the easiest critters to skin and I remember skinning lots of them back in the 70's. We got $8-$10 for them skinned cased and that was quite a bit of money back then.
Adios,
Gary
