You have almost the exact amount I`ve had in Erath County. I had 9.6 inches in September though. Some tanks near me are still full, but my son live 6 miles southeast of me and his new tank is about 30% full. Last 3 months I`ve only had about 3" though.

Lubbock area would be great then. Can easily shoot as far as you could possibly desire to. There's just that small issue of wind sometimes though

I've been looking east of there. Callahan county.

I love Post Oaks! If mesquite and cedars are in my way, the mulcher man will be hired.

My yearly average is about 27". Have received over 41" this year and the ponds look great. Most of the rains we received were timely and not big floods, which is good for the ranch, but not Hubbard Creek lake..were I fish.

I planted several fruit trees just to see them almost all drown….😡. Had water standing for months then dry as a popcorn fart. The water well saved what the rains didn’t drown.

I've been through some pretty bad droughts and in Bosque County nothing about 2024 would qualify for the term. My pond getting water has more to do with the timing of the rain than the average amount. The ground needs to be saturated first to get run off. Unless it rains 4+ inches all in one day.

A buddy of mine lives in Valley View he's SE of Gainesville. He's got more rain this year than I have.

West of I-35 got more than east of I-35 in some cases.

That's a good area. My buddy has a place in the Roby/Rotan/Hamlin area, and there are some really good whitetails in that sandy country, and a practically endless supply of hogs.

Been dry since we moved. Think I had almost three months in a row with no measurable rain, and the months surrounding were not wet. Been watering trees like crazy.

It's a moonscape around my feeders, corn and protein, in Kimble County. They're struggling. 'Lost a tree in my front yard 'cause I started watering too late. bang

That's Lamar county for you. I know ow it is a pain for you. It's not worth walking in the mud, and it's not worth risking sticking equipment. I've got some skid steer work I need to do. It's too wet to do it.

We got 60” of rain this year, but the ponds are really low. If we don’t get significant rain before summer, our big pond, which has never gone dry, might go dry.

We are 17 inches below normal rainfall this year and last year was the same. The post oaks have developed oak canker around here from stress, it is real bad. I had about an 1/2
acre cleared off Saturday for a new shop and the hard dried red clay really made it a tough booger lifting out some Mesquite and Hackberry trees.

That doesn’t seem right. Is the watershed that feeds it shredded? I was surprised to see the difference it makes when I cleared out the small brush and started keeping it shredded. Apparently the tall grass and brush keeps the water from accumulating enough to run into mine.
