About to buy a newer used golf cart. I can get one with new trojan lead batts or new Samsung lithium batts. The lithium is more expensive of course. For those in the know, which is best?
This cart is mainly for cleaning cabins and mail runs (mail box is 1/4 mile away) mostly used by the wife. I won't be used on the ranch.

Lithium is the way to go. About 300# lighter and more power. However more difficult to swap to. Have to change the charger also. You will likely have to fabricate some mounting brackets. Look at Row Pow, they make kits that will include what you need electrically. I used their battery kit to upgrade an electric Gator and it has been great. You definitely want a charge indicator (fuel gauge).
Let me know if you have any questions or need help setting it up. I am just around the corner.
