Watching games all day; not cooking much. Settled for some good meatloaf and French fry poutine. Lovely Gruyère cheese melt on top, with grated cheese and hot gravy!!

That old cast iron cookware is the cats meow for cooking
these meals like this. That old lodge is great addition for winter cooking.

I have a bunch of older Lodge models and love them. Stellar performers and well seasoned. It seems their quality control has gone downhill over the last dozen years. Really just have to look at them carefully anymore! Went thru the factory and store last year when we were there, and it's impressive!!
