Not trying to take anything away from the real spirit of Christmas, but it also typically means presents. Anyone get anything they wanted or liked? This blanket was a surprise for me but was perfect.

My daughter and future son in law got my wife some girly things, me some chocolates, and a bottle of bourbon shaped like a baseball from Cooperstown Distillery (really cool looking), and us a gift card to an upscale restaurant called “The Ranch.” I’m surprised and very happy!

Simple but happy….. got a good quality headlamp that I wanted but would never had bought myself, and an electronic meat thermometer. Then the kids got me some fancy blue tooth head phones, that I acted excited about.

Man I love a good headlamp! Use them all the time.

Been a different Christmas for us. We moved to Florida this week, so I guess that’s my “present”… still gonna try and work a heavier rod/reel in if I can get it approved by Mrs. Claus grin

Got a new set of base layers that I really needed. The old Under Armour had seen better days. Couple of bottles of expensive wine that I would never buy for myself. And some random deer camp type food stuff. Oh, and a gigantic bag of charcoal. That one had me completely fooled until I unwrapped it. I had no idea what was in that huge, heavy box.

Silver spurs and gold tequila
keep me hanging on.
Pretty girls and old cantinas

Don't laugh but I got a Kitchenaid mixer with the chopping and grinding attachments. Was miffed at the wife earlier this fall when I found out she gave her Kitchenaid to one of our kids. I plan to do more baking when I retire and self processing on deer. IE Sausage and beef sticks. So now I'm fixed up again. up

Corvette goodies (carbon fiber parts), shooting accessories, and a few gift cards! Daughter got a huge pay raise and end of year bonus so she was good to her Mother & I.
