Do any of you numismatist know if there is any value here? Individually or as a set?

A little value, if you live near DFW then CR Coins in NRH is a reputable dealer.

The steel pennies do. I do not know how much but my Grandfather had a mint set like that but I got the guns and not the coins. The old wheat pennies me and pops used to collect but I am not sure where we put them. Those were just a novelty

The 1941 and later pennies aren't going to have much value in circulated condition. Only major exception would be a 1955 "double die" (the doubled date is visible to the naked eye, but a magnifier helps).

Otherwise, the main collectible pennies with value run from 1909 to about 1933. If you're anywhere in driving distance of Flower Mound, you're welcome to bring the coins to my office and I can take a quick look at them for an opinion of value.
