I hate to say it but I think the original one looked good too. It’s grown on me over the years. When I first saw it, negative, was ugly, but over the years I’ve come around to thinking it looks halfway decent.

I think the rights of ownership for DeLorean has been passed around as much as Judd in male Gen pop. Every few years they make a big deal of it and nothing ever happens

The anemic performance killed it…. THIS, and John Delorean's arrest for drug trafficking, and the car's price tag that was double what they had planned. I don't think most people know how dreadfully slow and poor performing they were. The Volvo/Peugeot/Renault V6 is not known for performance with overrated 130 HP.
Pass the gravy.

The smog and emissions add ons were choking down any HP.

The winged doors also were problematic in tight parking areas. You couldn't open the doors with their particular gull wing design where normal cars could. Most importantly the garage.

They are still being serviced and repaired in Houston. DMC
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

They are still being serviced and repaired in Houston. DMCThey scrapped several of them when they went under and many original parts are still available according to this guy that was parked next to us after a golf round at Buffalo Creek. He said it was a barn find and he restored it.

A guy who I worked with in high school his dad had one and rarely drove it. I got to sit in it one time, I always thought they were cool. This was around 1987.
