Bought a new place October of 21. Agreed to remodel master suite for Wifeypoo. Had some issues getting started. Various issues. Ended up being a complete gut & remodel. She doesn’t have pictures of me with a goat or anything else. Still some work on exterior but, final interior clean up taking place right now. Movers scheduled for December 27th. Told her it doesn’t matter, I am always hunting the entire week between Christmas and New Year’s. I’ve seen resting BF before but her look was much more aggressive. I then told her ok, I will just take an extended hunt over the New Year’s holiday. First time in thirty plus years for me to miss that golden, extended hunt.

Story of my (married) life. We start a complete gut job on the house we bought in Dec 2021 in about 4 weeks. This will be our fifth complete remodel in 16 years. The equity is nice though.

Looking good. Have fun with the move! We bought this place about the same time you bought yours. The move almost killed us. I won't have the energy to do it again. We don't plan on moving unless the kids, in committee fashion, tell us we're moving. And...they'll have to catch me first.

I got to put one mount in the house. I chose the decent mulie I found all by my lonesome on that beat up and abused 40K acres west of Kermit. The rest are out in the barn and points west.

Elevator?

Not yet. We do have a place “reserved “ for one. Three minutes to office. Here is what makes the place. Sun rises will be awesome and so will the spring lightning shows. City view even better at night.

Is it made of block?

Some of it. The majority has 2x6 framing. Roof is R panels with 3/4 inch insulation and TPO on top. Pretty sturdy structure.
