Got a picture of what I would consider a unusual colored hog, almost all white. My son had been getting a bunch of pigs that were black and white, so know I guess we know where they originated from. Any guesses on the weight of this beast ??

I think that’s just the reflection of your camera flash. Looks like he’s the same color as the others.

I call hogs that color...ghost hogs.

Correct. Not unusual for a dark colored object (close to the camera) to appear light colored with an IR light flash. Black in particular... will do this.

It looks like a 160 lb dark hog lit up by the flash .

I shot one a few years ago that was all white.

I agreed with the washout from the flash but caught one in a trap last week that was color like a possum. Others in the sounder were coal black.

We have killed a couple on our place that color.

Had one on a lease in San Saba we called Blondie. He tore up a couple of traps leaving blonde hair behind. Until a hunter caught him slipping and shot him at a feeder. Weighed almost 400lbs.
