Date Hunted 12/22/24: 40 degrees and marsh tide a little on the low side. Nice 10 mph breeze out of the north. We made a move from a less than good hunt Saturday to another spot sometimes tree ducks are there. We shot six tree ducks and four teal for the hunt. Two other guys in the club went about 15 miles from us and shot two mottled ducks and 10 teal. Good hunt Sunday. Sidebar - Saturday it was 38 degrees with N/NW wind at 25mph steady after the cold front passed. Some duck hunters dream of those conditions, I hate them. We had a bad hunt Saturday. We shoot ducks in SE Louisiana when it is 65 degrees and a light breeze as my videos on the Delta Duckman channel shows.
