We have been all around looking for the Pasta Fagioli soup and salad just like they have at Olive Garden and no one seems to know what we are talking about.
Any ideas?

I do know there are no houses for rent there. According to Seinfeld.

That soup is the main reason I like going to Olive Garden. I’ll have two bowls before my spaghetti ever hits the table!

Heck, I wasn’t happy with Italian pizza. The lasagna was great.

Go to Tuscany and look for something from Olive Garden? Maybe you’ll get lucky and find something off a Little Caesar’s men.

My wife would get on a plane to return to Tuscany tonight. I'm more in the "you can't go back" camp. Plus, I hate flying.

We spent the night on a very hard bed in cool old building in Tuscany. On the up side the scenery was very nice.

1" thick pad on top of a marble platform. It was just this side of a morticians slab.

Worst mattress I was ever on was also in Italy. In Vicenza. It was hard as a rock and not even flat. And that hotel had the tiny dreaded triangular corner shower. But, we had a good time in Italy.

People romanticize Europe and it does have some interesting history and scenery but a lot of it is also trash.

I was joking about Olive Garden. The first night, the villa we are staying cooked us up an amazing 4 course meal which we accompanied by their own wine from the estate. It was really good. We had a panini at a really good place in Florence today and then a Napoli pizza at a small local place close to where we are staying. The people are super friendly.

Ask for lasagna or Ravioli in France - nope. Pizza in Italy - nope. But you can get both in Iran! And Barbeque! And go SNOW skiing too. Wienerschnitzel is NOT a hot dog in Germany (Kassel).

Is there such a thing as "travel signaling?"

This is exactly the kind of stuff some of my bride's facebook people post over there. I still have to wonder why anyone would give a ratsazzz about reading stuff like this and why a poster would think that we would. No offense TH.
