Thought I would check here since the THF has a wide net with all kinds of folks.

The situation:

My farm neighbor sold their 15 acres and I purchased his 5 cows as they were not part of the sale. So moved the cows over to my place through a gate our properties share, no big deal. The next week I go to load 3 of them up to take to the sale barn. One of them is huge like 2000lbs, once I closed the corral door and started sorting them through the alley she got crazy and walked through the one soft spot of my corral that was about 8' made up of T post and cattle panel. Long story short I got the other two loaded and sold.

Now since she did that I set 3 post and welded sucker rod to it to make a secure panel where that cattle panel was. The problem is now she is smart to the loading game and will not let the corral door be shut behind her. I've tried several times, even had someone hide in the barn and try to sneak up to close the gate and she won't let it happen.

So I'm in need of a cowboy with the skills needed to get her loaded onto a trailer. Located in Nocona, Texas will pay a bounty to the cowboy.

Sounds like you need a cattle prod.

I know some good cowboys that for would get her, but they are in Leon county.

What we need to do is get some of the THF cowboys to do this and we live stream it...this could get very lucrative depending upon how crazy this cow is

My son in law catches the worst of them. We use curr dogs to handle them and a rope to drag their sorry asses in. I can give him a call and see if he is interested. We are in Mineral Wells.

I was thinking he should post it in the Exotic hunting section and sell it as a hunt. He could even add that it is low fence.

Use range cubes or sweet feed to lure her into the trailer.
They'll eat out of yer hand if yer nice to em!

This...just give her a little time and she will drop her guard but improve your corral first.

Range cubes will work make a trail going into the pen. Get a pile away from the gate it might take a few days but it will get used to going into the pen. A cowboy will cost 200-300 to come out. A good dog and a horse will have it loaded in a few mins usually. Call a feed store or auction barn.

Guys I know cattle pretty well. I’ve owned them for 5-6 years. Small cow/calf operation. She will follow me around with cubes. I can dang near pet her, but you ain’t getting that corral door shut.

I’ll sale an exotic hunt for $1500 and I have a tractor to hang and load.

Have not tried this yet as my cattle are pretty mild mannered and Ive never had a need for one.

This is probably the most lucrative scenario.
