Finally finished it. All my wounds gotten during construction are healed too. I think this is the best cradle I’ve made, and probably the last one. I hope it gets used for many years, by children whose parents haven’t been born yet. I even kind of hate giving it up, having put so much love in it. Its first tiny occupant will be named Sam.

The pistol target in the background is from our LTC class with Jeffbird. He coached her, and she shot so well that she insisted the target had to be shown somewhere. And I should mention that she went over the target very very carefully and decided that she had scored higher than Jeffbird’s official scoring. She wrote the ‘new’ score on the target. I’m just letting that one lay. Safer that way.

Judd, I see what you did. It was a pretty good bit of blood. All healed up now, but not as good as new. Thanks for the compliment. The cradle came out really nice.

Oh, it’s Ok I suppose. Doesn’t bend like it did, but not as ugly as it was before it healed. I sure wish I hadn’t messed it up.

You should be proud of that work and I'm sure they will be ecstatic to use and have. Glad that didn't go unnoticed and glad you are all healed up. wink
