I am truly surprised a major sporting event hasn't been hit since the Atlanta Olympics (and that was pretty minor). The October glider/powered parachute attack in Israel was a warm-up. The New jersey drones are but probes to figure out our response (or lack thereof) to such events.

As big as the Super Bowl can be, the reality is that its only the northern Hemisphere that'd see it. My money says they are waiting for World Cup. Ravenous global soccer fans. Hit all those cities in North America simultaneously. That'd make a statement on a big stage.

After her interview above, I either read an article or listened to something that suggested the Jihadis have already smuggled in or otherwise assembled surface to air missiles here. If a thunderstorm can bounce a jet across 121, a shoulder fired model rocket probably could too.

There is no way the powers that be haven't considered this. It seems too simple to park at GVM Mall or on the shoulder of 121 and sling some primitive SAMs at heavies on approach to DFW (or IAH, ATL, LAX, etc etc). There is less than 5 minutes separation between arriving birds per runway; 2-3 airliners would be possible. THEN when the first responders approach the bad guy, he hits the thumb button on his 72 Virgin vest and takes a couple more with him to meet Allah.

Perhaps I am just working on my next novel or Hollywood Box Office hit.
